Mrs Afolasade Olowe

Afolasade is a seasoned corporate counsel with over two decades of experience in corporate commercial practice and corporate governance. She is the Company Secretary of Cadbury Nigeria Plc, and has deep expertise spanning corporate law and governance, regulatory advisory and compliance, labour and employment, mergers and acquisitions, and immigration law.

Before joining Cadbury, she served as Senior Counsel and Company Secretary at Unilever Nigeria Plc, where she led the legal team in providing strategic advisory support across diverse areas of law. She also played a pivotal role in strengthening corporate governance practices within the board and across the organisation.

Afolasade is a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria and the Nigerian Bar Association. She holds an MBA from Henley Business School, University of Reading, United Kingdom.

Beyond her corporate career, she is passionate about social impact, particularly in advancing girl-child development, where she dedicates time to mentoring and supporting young girls to achieve their full potential.
