Lt Col Sunday Ajewole Awe

Lt Col Sunday Ajewole Awe is a senior officer in the Nigerian Army Education Corps with extensive experience in educational administration, leadership, and training. He holds an OND and HND in Engineering from Lagos State Polytechnic, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the National Teachers Institute, Kaduna, and a Master’s degree in Educational Administration and Planning from the National Open University of Nigeria.

Since his commissioning into the Nigerian Army in 2007, Lt Col Awe has served in diverse leadership and instructional roles, including Instructor at the Nigerian Military School, Zaria; Brigade Education Officer at 35 Artillery Brigade, Abeokuta; Senior Instructor at the Martin Luther Agwai International Leadership and Peacekeeping Centre, Jaji; Commandant of Command Day Secondary School, Jos; and Acting Director of 7 Division Education Services, Maiduguri.

He currently serves as Assistant Chief of Staff on Logistic Matters at the Headquarters Nigerian Army Education Corps, Yaba, Lagos.
